Blogspot #1: Euthanasia’s True Nature

Good day I’m Renelyn Palafox taking up Multimedia Arts in Asia Pacific College. This is my first time to write a blog and I decided to research about Euthanasia or also called Mercy Killing. Euthanasia is the act of killing people because of mercy, for example if a person is in a point where the doctor says that he/she has no more chance of living he or she is either cut off the only thing that is keeping him or her alive but, is this truly done through the act of mercy? Or is it this through the loss of faith in the person? I say that if a person’s heart is still beating he/she still has the right to fight for his/her life.

As I search on the internet I found a site contains Views on Euthanasia under that site is the article entitled Two View about the Morality of Euthanasia by J.P. Moreland he said that “According to Rachels, the distinctions used in the traditional view are inadequate. There is nothing sacred or morally significant about being a human being with biological life. Nor is there any moral difference between killing someone and letting him die.”

For me Euthanasia is not the only way to become easier on someone else life. We cannot easily take away the hope because we know that it’s not easy to miss someone.  We should give the right to the person to fight for his/her life.
